The Drawer is a non-profit organization located in the Twin Cities area. The organization collects and distributes underwear and socks to those who need them the most. Items are received directly from donations from community partners, community members, non-profit organizations, and faith-based organizations. The product is then distributed to beneficiaries through public assistance organizations or directly to recipients at places such as soup kitchens and food shelves.
The growth of the organization has led to a need for a part-time Executive Director to manage the various programs and volunteers. This position will manage program operations, budget and financials, coordinate volunteers, manage inventory and warehouse operations, provide community visibility and leadership, coordinate fundraising efforts and report to a volunteer Board of Directors.
The successful candidate will have a BA/BS in organizational leadership, business, non-profit administration or similar; a minimum 2 years leadership experience in a non-profit organization; excellent organization skills; fundraising experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently; and entrepreneurial skills to lead a young, growing organization. The position is able to work remotely and hours are flexible.
Salary range: $40,000-$50,000 (part-time averaging 25-30 hours per week)
